Sweet quote! This is my favourite ever movie 🙂
“I never said help us!!!!!”
It’s a great beginning in perfect Tarantino’s style 🙂
Definitely!
And George Clooney was so cool wasn’t he!
I want to watch it (again!) now!!
oh yes, with the black suit and the tattoo… real badass!
Definitely!!!!!! When the whole tattoo was revealed at the end – wow!
He was brilliant, god I love that film!
Indeed! I like that it’s half crime story and half splatter horror.
Yes that’s so true! I’m a huge fan of Robert Rodriguez too so it all works so beautifully for me. It’s such a fun, thrill ride!!!! It’s the kind of film I’d like to make 🙂 (not that I ever will but you know!)
Have you see the TV-show that Rodriguez made last year from the movie? It delves more into the mythology of the vampires.
Yes! I watched it on Netflix, I think I have a review floating around somewhere.
I thought it was pretty good! The translation worked well, it certainly was more vampire-y than the film.
Did you watch / enjoy it? 🙂
I did. I liked the cast and the pace was good, I didn’t appreciated much the “chosen-one thing” for Richie, done too many times.
Yes I liked the cast too! I know they weren’t “them” but they were still very good.
Oh god I know what you mean!! And I could sense from the beginning it was going to be a bit like that with Richie.
Great post!! Great movie!
Thanks! It’s a really good one, such a fun ride.
I love that thing and can watch it over and over : )
me too!
