Bardem’s character struggles between his role of responsible father of two with a bi-polar wife and his “job” as “investor” in borderline legal activities in Barcelona. Interesting views of the underground world of illegal immigrants from Africa and China in Europe. Bardem delivers a great performance, as always when is not forced in the role of the sexy hunk (Mare Adentro, No Country for Old Men, Before Night Falls, etc.) — 8/10.
